Hide "Message"-field in the pre-chat form

your pre-chat form is not very customizable. Do you ever plan on changing that in near future?
What we'd need: We only want to have the "Name" and the "E-Mail"-field displayed in the pre-chat form. The "Message"-field should be able to be hidden.
Maybe other users are more looking into hiding the "E-Mail"-field in order that a lot of people don't want to provide their email.
Therefore there are so many ways users would need the pre-chat form to work. Unfortunately it is not customizable enough to fulfill these different expectations.

I really hope you are going to find a solution for that. It is very important for us and I'm sure also for a lot of other Zendesk Chat users as well. Thanks!

We have no plans in 2017 to change the pre-chat form customization options. If you want to hide the message field, you can look at using the Web SDK as a Premium customer.
You can get more information here: http://api.zopim.com/web-sdk
With the Web SDK, you can fully customize what the widget and pre-chat form looks like. So if you just want name or email, you can do that by building a custom pre-chat form using the Web SDK.
