    Hi Aditya,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Regarding the second part about restricting banning for only Admin roles, the team is actively researching how we can give more control to admins to restrict certain actions for agents. This is something that team will be working on in Q4 2016 / Q1 2017, and we will reach out to you when we have more updates.

    Thanks,

    Rajat

    Hello,

I just had an one hour chat with Zopim regarding this.

We sincerely failed to see how can this feature be online without any supervision or way to be tracked - this was such an amateur move from you guys.

    Hi there Mateus,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and sorry you feel that it was an amateur move.

Zopim originally focused on smaller teams and businesses who didn't really need a feature to tell who banned a visitor. As we attract more larger sized companies, they need more audit features (which includes being able to see who banned a visitor).

Although we don't have anything planned for the remainder of 2016 to add this specific feature, we are planning to make more features in 2017 more flexible for larger teams like yours. This includes better roles and permissions management, like what Rajat mentioned earlier.

    Thanks,

    Ramin

    Hello, there

Your company has a lot of potential and it's really nice starting this new partnership, however the delay to take things in place is really frustrating.

Some reviews  and features should be better explained during the sales timeline. We just discover this "banned thing" and I'm being pretty honest when I say it's very scary for us (run away from you scary - that level)

    Thanks,

Understand your need for it and we are working on solving these problems (we are actually building a whole new team to handle projects like this). We are committed to solving this problem but it unfortunately won't happen overnight.

The only workaround I can propose is get your agents to put their name in the ban reason. I understand it isn't ideal and depends on the agent doing it but it could be a workaround until we update/build new features to solve this specific problem.

It would be great for us to hear about this again when you have news.

We're working for hours in a workaround once we cannot simply track hundreds of agents action's manually - and this feature came as a surprise.

    Thanks for your time,

    Regards,

    Hi Brielle,

No immediate plans to change the banned visitor list behaviour. We are exploring adding audit logs to the service and this information may be something we put in those logs.

    Hi all,

We recently released roles and permissions feature (on Premium and Enterprise plans) that allow admins to create roles and customize agent permissions. Using this feature you can prevent agents from banning visitor or provide this option to only selected agents. You can find more about the feature in our announcement post here.

    Thanks,

    Rajat
