Duplicate Zopim Tickets
AnsweredWe have many examples in the past week of the same chat generating multiple Zendesk tickets. Anyone have a work around that doesn't involve the agent leaving the chat open forever? It looks like the dupes are created if the agent closes out chat and the customer replies or says thank you or just closes it out themselves.

I did some hunting and it looks like this is actually a known issue right now. We're in the process of getting it fixed; I'll create a ticket for you and link it to the Problem ticket so you can get updated when everything is straightened out! We'll see you there shortly.

There is a beta for ticket creation at the beginning of the chat that helps with this.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. It is a known issue and it happens due to network blips or occasional slowness between the services involved. We are addressing these issues as part of Ticket Creation V2 which is available as closed Beta. Let me know if you are interested in joining this Beta.

Ticket Creation V2 has been live for a while now. The duplication issue has been addressed in this version.
