Software company would like customers notified when release that fixes their problem is ready

    Hi Steve,

    Have these customers generated tickets in your Support account? If so, have you had a chance to look into the Problem/Incident ticket feature?

    If you have users reporting similar issues you can then create a Problem ticket and link those incidents to that problem ticket. Once you're ready to notify users that a fix has been pushed, you would update the Problem ticket with a public response and mark as solved. Every Incident ticket that is attached to that Problem ticket will be updated and the requester will be notified.

    Does that sound similar to what you're looking for?

    Hey Steve,

    Just so we're both on the same page, how would you group these customers so you know they need to be updated at the same time? Would this be a generic message you would send out stating the issue has been resolve or is this a custom message each time?
