Ability to customize welcome text from the bot

    Hi Céline,

    There's no way to edit the default welcome text at this time.

    I was able to track down the following feedback post which relates to the functionality you're looking for: Answer Bot for the Web Form - Editing Pop-Up Window

    I encourage you to upvote this post and copy your use case there for our Product Managers to view.

    Hi Brett,

    I think I have read somewhere that

    1. when a person chats with the bot, and says "yes close the ticket", that the ticket is anonymous (the requester is answerbot himself - even if the user is connected to the help center)
    2. and that it is only when the person says "no I need some help" that personnel data is collected, via the form, because the person fills it-in.

    Is this correct ?

    • If correct (no data collected in step 1 above), we do not have the urge to change the default welcome text, because we added a check box in the form that comes afterwards, so that the users accept the terms (and know how their data are collected etc) - Thanks to your wondeful support team for the tip !!
    • If I am wrong and that personnal data are collected in step 1 above for answerbot resolved tickets, then we do need to change the bot welcome text (below) to add terms of use

    Hi Céline,

    I double checked internally and it does look like you're correct. The only time we collect data is if the user selects No, I need some help. The tip provided by our Support team should work for you then :) .
