We have the use case that we would like to set the subject of the ticket via the action of a trigger. I can see that it is possible evaluate the subject text as condition. Ideally, the value to set should allow placeholders or more generically speaking, markup based on liquid.
My current workaround is to define a notification target to invoke the API which updates the current ticket, but I understand that this is not "a good practice" due to race conditions, although it is working fine even if it is executed asynchronous and even if that update fires another trigger, but again... not ideal as the update of the subject should happen just under the execution of the current trigger.
Is there any technical limitation that avoids this use case?
