    Hi Bill,

    Thanks for your feedback.

As mentioned in this post, we will soon be kicking off a research project which aims at identifying the best way(s) for you to find what you are looking for.

    Kind regards

    Vincent

I know this thread is somewhat dated, but any news on this?

Running through Explore cleaning up some queries and I don't have a way to see if they are active on any dashboards.

I found a way to find out. When you click on 'delete' in the queries library, there is a pop up asking whether you really want to delete the query. In there it will tell you which dashboards are associated with it.

Oooh, it looks like in one of the recent Explore updates, this is now a 'thing'... when you go into the query editor, you can see a new 'dashboard' icon, with a number by it - which shows how many dashboards the query is used on.

... and when you click it, it tells you which ones!

    Thanks - love this!!

Hi Tim Grimshaw, that's right - we pushed that improvement earlier this year.

Please note that you will also soon see in the query's library the "number of dashboards" in which each query is being used. That will give provide you with a quick overview of which queries are actively used by your organization, and which ones you may be able to delete.
