We have many duplicate end users in our Zendesk support that I would like to merge via tha API.
Most of these duplicates are customers that have contacted us via Facebook and also via email. In these cases we have 2 separate users but in fact they are the same.
because of the high amount of duplicates it isn't a real option to manually merge them, so I was looking in doing this via the API (we are already using the API for updating user details) however the problem is that the Facebook identity has a name and a Facebook Id but no email address that I can use to match the same email user.
Does anyone know if it possible to request the email address of a Facebook user, either via the Zendesk API or else maybe via any Facebook API?
