    Hi there Casey,

Thanks for the great feedback around having an easier way of reporting Zopim data inside your own dashboard.

For historical data, you can use our REST API to get some of the data you want: https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/zopim/chats

Each chat will return details like the satisfaction rating, if it was a missed chat, chat duration, and other metrics. Have you tried this already? We have customers using the REST API already for their reporting needs, so it can be done.

Note: REST API is only accessible for accounts on the Advanced or Premium package.

    Thanks,

    Ramin

I have tried the API to get historical data.  It is pretty clunky... but it works.

What I would really like is access to the dashboard stats and current metrics.  I would like to be able to show how many chats are currently waiting, how many we've missed in the last hour, how many agents are logged in, etc. on our Leftronic dashboard on the wall in our call centre.

Example: It would be awesome to be able to submit an API request for "Number of Missed Chats" in the last 60 minutes.  Or "Number Open & Unanswered Chats" right now.

    Hi Diego,

Can you please email chat@zendesk.com with what you want to achieve and why you need to use the core APIs?

    Thanks,

    Ramin
