Is there anything else that needs to be done to enable this on the help center or in chat?

Is there a delay in this going live once the app is enabled?

I have enabled it just a couple of minutes ago, but I don't see it on our help center yet.

This is our status page. https://status.clickfunnels.com

    Hi Mark,

The app is only available in Chat and Support, not in Help Center. There shouldn't be any delay once the app is installed in Chat or Support.

    Thanks,

    David

Hi David, thanks for clarifying both here and in the EAP welcome email that this is for Support & Chat only at this time. I was wondering the same question as Mark, regarding the integration with Zendesk Guide (Help Center) as it was part of the info-email that Atlassian sent, which is detailed here - https://www.atlassian.com/blog/add-ons/zendesk-statuspage-integration

The messaging during installation for Support can also throw off some people expecting to use it in Guide, specifically Step 3:

    Step 3

Copy the code snippet provided. This can then be used within Zendesk Guide to display your current status. (No code snippet is provided, which may confuse admins who are setting this up)

Will that integration accessibility come at a later time, and separate from this EAP? That's the biggest functionality that I am chasing with my Organization, but the Support integration for tickets is also going to be helpful.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately we had to remove the Guide functionality from this initial EAP but we are wanting to have this available in an upcoming release.

We'll work with Atlassian and our team to get the messaging cleaned up - thank you for pointing this out!

    Thanks,

    David

Is there any way to have it display the Zendesk status page? When I put in the URL it shows an error i'm assuming because it doesn't know which pod.

Install was easy!  Setup was easy!

I'm digging it so far!  I'll come back if I have any issues or after I've gotten to use it a bit more.  But as of now, it's been a pleasurable experience.

Hi Alex - the Zendesk status page is custom page made by Zendesk and not an Atlassian Statuspage.io page, and hence this integration won't work. We do have an API available, see link here for more information.

Hi Eric - great to hear the integration is working for you and thanks for your feedback!

Our integration disappeared today.  Both the top bar and the side bar are missing.

I've logged out and in.  And it's across all of our users.  Is this a known issue?

We're experiencing the same issue as Eric mentioned above^^

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, disabling/enabling, and nothing brings it back, but it shows in the installed apps for our Zendesk account. We are on pod 13 (p13.zendesk.com) if that has any impact to this.

Not to brag (or jinx ourselves) :) - We are up and OK (as of this writing). Also on pod 13

    All,

There was an incident today on POD19 that prevented Zendesk applications from loading, which caused the Statuspage integration to disappear. This has now been fixed so everything should be back up and running.

If anyone encounters another issue please let us know.

    Thanks,

    David

Install was easy, I like it.

Only feedback I have at this point would be to make the icon color show the current status that's active. This would save the step of clicking the icon to find out the status is green.

+1 to @Michael Cardamone's request... if it can be done. If the icon could be styled to match the status page default color schemes, that would be a beneficial representation to agents working tickets. Based on an event push to a company's status page, the color updates to reflect that change, and agents can then click the icon to get more details in the Zendesk Agent screen.

The reason I say 'if it can be done' is because the only potential cause for confusion or nonfunctional use, would be  multiple statuses in play. i.e. a maintenance status in addition to an impairment to maybe one component out of many, how would that be identified by a single indication on the icon, or what would the solution be?

Good Point @Jeremy Robinson. Some businesses will have very simplistic Status Pages and some more complex and multi tiered. I think the Status Page default colors are as follows:

    • Operational (green)
    • Under Maintenance (blue)
    • Degraded Performance (yellow)
    • Partial Outage (orange)
    • Major Outage (red)

These should be assigned priority and the most critical color would always come first.
Example: There's currently a Maintenance going on for POD1 and a Partial Outage Happening on POD2. The color displayed would be orange. Another interesting indicator could be to pull all System names and post the name:status as a tool tip when hovering over the icon. This would help to quickly get status without clicking in when there are multiple system in play.

Currently the tool tip (hover) shows the Name giving during the install.

    Hi Michael and Jeremy,

Thanks for the feedback, and yes, it would be great to be able to see the status without having to click into the app.

I've added this as a candidate feature to our backlog for the integration!

    Thanks,

    David

Anyone else having issues with the agent screen option for StatusPage not showing details? When I click on it to see the maintenance details for maintenance currently going on, the window is blank as shown below.

    Hi Jeremy,

I've raised a support ticket as I'll need some specific details about how your integration has been set up to troubleshoot your problem.

I'll follow up via a support email.

    Thanks,

    David

    Thanks @David Gillespie!

@Allen Hammond - ours seems to work fine for when the status is operational, but for maintenance and/or degradations it is not showing the details or event title.

    @David Gillespie-

Happy Monday! Just wanted to check in to see if there was any more progress or updates to share on this bug?

    Hi Jeremy,

Apologies for not updating this group: the bug has been fixed and has been deployed.

Are you still experiencing the same problem?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

No worries, I hadn't tested this in a while and don't anticipate upcoming maintenance for at least the next few weeks. I'll give it a test in the near future, if there's issues, I will report back, otherwise, thank you to you and the team for moving so quickly to get this EAP bug fixed.
