Zendesk's Slack integration: "pingbacks"?
👋🏻 I'm on an entirely remote team of around 40 support engineers all over the world. We frequently discuss our Zendesk tickets in Slack, and in our conversations, we often include direct URLs to the ticket. Sometimes the discussion gets lost in the scrollback, which spans teams across multiple timezones, or sometimes we just neglect to add links to the conversation in the ticket's notes since it's a manual process.
I'd love to see "pingbacks" as internal notes (or in an app/pane) in Zendesk when someone on Slack sends a message with a ticket's full URL. This would automatically give wider context to tickets: when someone mentioned the ticket, who that person was, which channel they were in, and perhaps what they said. Later, anyone looking at the ticket can jump to that conversation where we mentioned the ticket.
From reading about the integration [here](https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001280448-Understanding-and-installing-the-Slack-for-Zendesk-Support-integration), I don't believe this is currently possible. If it is, I'd love to know how to do it! If not, I hope you'll consider this as a feature request.
Thanks 🙇🏻♂️

Hi Matt,
Thanks for reaching out to us! The specific functionality that you've outlined isn't currently available but we have just released Slack for Side Conversations which may address your use case.
I'm still keen to understand the feature you've brought up in a bit more detail so I'll reach to you directly.
Thanks,
David
