    Thanks for adding those images back in, @bhamilton! I'm not sure what happened there. I've passed your question along to some of our Guide theme customization experts; hopefully one of them will have a minute to jump in and help you out shortly!

    Hey @bhamilton -

    I chatted with one of our moderators, and he says that adding {{link 'new_request' class='submit-a-request'}} to the footer file will add the submit a request button there.

    Thanks Nicole. I added the snippet of code but nothing changed in my footer. Is it possible that there is a setting I might be missing? Or perhaps it's our subscription level (currently listed as "Legacy")? Or something else?

    Here is our current footer:

    <footer class="footer">
    <div class="footer-inner">
    {{link 'new_request' class='submit-a-request'}}
    <div class="footer-language-selector">
    {{#if alternative_locales}}
    <div class="dropdown language-selector" aria-haspopup="true">
    <a class="dropdown-toggle">
    {{current_locale.name}}
    </a>
    <span class="dropdown-menu dropdown-menu-end" role="menu">
    {{#each alternative_locales}}
    <a href="{{url}}" dir="{{direction}}" rel="nofollow" role="menuitem">
    {{name}}
    </a>
    {{/each}}
    </span>
    </div>
    {{/if}}
    </div>
    </div>
    </footer>

    ALSO ... What about the question of adding text to the footer?

    Thanks

    Belinda

    Hi Belinda,

    For adding text to your footer I would recommend using Dynamic Content as detailed in this article.

    The footer code you mention should work. A possible reason why you aren't seeing it is that the HC preview mode defaults to Manager and this particular link is hidden for that role. If you switch the preview role to Anonymous you should see the link.

    Hope that helps you out!

    Thanks so much. The user role was exactly why I couldn't see Submit a Request. Also, the dynamic content works wonderfully.
