I validated with the support group that in Explore you are unable to create filters within Calculated metrics (standards and date ranges). This would be helpful for reporting when we need to create custom date range calculated metrics that need custom attribute/ ticket filters prior to use for more complex standard calculated metrics.
Sometimes we need specific time frames for particular types of tickets as defined by the instance. In many of these cases % differences between different time frames are requested.
