We're happy to announce that search across multiple Help Centers will be made available to all our Guide Enterprise customers during the week of October 7. This change will go live right after the new Unified Search Results Page.
What do I need to do?
In short, nothing. Your custom theme using the new unified helpers will continue to show the unified search results across all your Help Centers the way you implemented it.
However, if you'd like to switch back to using the official Copenhagen theme so you can get all the official updates from Zendesk, you can do the following, after the General Availability of the Search across multiple Help Centers is announced:
1. In Guide admin, navigate to Customize Design > Add new theme
2. Select Copenhagen theme
3. Configure the imported Copenhagen theme to get to the desired look and feel.
4. Set it as a live theme.
Remember to only do this after the General Availability of this feature, in order to get the updated Copenhagen theme.
What else is changing?
We are also introducing a change in the behavior of Instant Search. From now on, Instant Search will also retrieve community posts as part of the 6 results shown. This change affects everybody using the Unified SERP helpers.
Finally, you will be able to specify which Help Centers to retrieve results from, by using the Guide Admin > Settings > Search Settings page.
