Hi there, I recently wanted to export my company's helpdesk ticket info to excel. Unfortunately, after researching your helpdesk solutions I was unable to find a way to do this. I reached out to customer support and was informed by Amanda that I am only able to export via API. She provided links to instructional python and perl pages, or told me I would have to upgrade my account.
While I understand support employees are empowered to provide only the approved company response, this was not a user-friendly or helpful solution. Even Amanda agreed, she was very friendly but was unable to assist further. In the spirit of "actively working to improve the customer experience across the whole of the life cycle," opening up this option will only serve to further Zendesk's advertised mission and values, empowering both your customers as well as Zendesks internal customer support team.
