It is possible to host the Help Center on own domain following this Article: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203664356
You can optionally set your SDK so that articles with embedded HC links still get open in the SDK HelpCenter: https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000814427
Today, there is no option to setup so that EXTERNAL links to HC (for example in email) opens directly in the App's HC. To do this, the Host Mapping should enable Universal Linking.
This way, if user clicks on the link from a device with App, she can potentially land in the App’s HC (using Zendesk SDK). This is great user experience! The only thing missing to achieve this is the Apple-App-Site-Association file which should be hosted on the HC source.
This is easy to implement: the developer just need to upload her AASA file to the root of her Zendesk subdomin and we’re done.
This leverages Zendesk Guides / HC to the Mobile age and set your standards to what the market expects it to be (web to app best practices, etc).
