I have a two fields - one is numeric and the other is a drop down text field. I'd like to be able to write a trigger that sets the drop down field value based on the value of the numeric field. There are 26 potential values in the numeric field so what I'd really like to do is set the drop down text value based on what range the numeric value falls in. Eg. If the numeric value is less than 18, set drop down value to A. If numeric value is between 19-28, set drop down value to B. If number value is between 29 and 36 set drop down value to C.
I have not seen any way to do this with native Zendesk tools. This is akin to the If/else statements that some other customers have inquired about in the past. Is there any way to achive this or do I have to go outside Zendesk for this functionality?
