We currently use Zendesk for our customer/technical support services, but we want to start using it for our special event team. The issue is, most of our special events require more than one person for setup, on-site service, and breakdown. So, we will need to assign multiple people to one ticket. That one ticket being the ticket for the event.
Some events require 5-7 people to be on site, so it would not efficient for us to create 5-7 tickets in those cases, and even if there are only two people assigned to an event, creating two separate tickets is not optimal for us either. I understand that groups can be created, but this model does't fit our use case perfectly. If we were to go with the group model, we would have to create a group for every possible configuration of our 15 contractors/freelancers. It's not like the same three people are assigned to the same events all the time, we really need the flexibility of choosing which workers to assign to each event.
Creating one ticket and assigning people ad hoc is the best way for us to be efficient. Is there now, or will there be in the future, the ability for users to assign multiple people to one ticket?
