"Contacts can't be merged because of an error" - what is the reason?

    Hi Jakob! The most common reasons for that error come down to permissions or related to the associated company. 

    First, if the user who is trying to merge two contacts is not an admin and not the owner of both contacts, you will see this error. Try having an admin merge the contacts or modify the ownership so that one user owns both contacts.

    Another situation where you might see this error is when each contact is associated with a different company contact. Please ensure that each contact is associated with the same company before attempting to merge.
