Since there is no "Feedback on Sell" Topic (there should be) I'm posting here.
There is no way to merge or bulk assign call outcomes either via the UI or via the API. We have an extensive list of call outcomes (because of historical reasons) that we want to rationalise to a shorter list so we can better report on them. This leaves us with 2 options:
1. Delete the call outcomes we don't want and lose all history of call outcomes for the calls that were assigned with those outcomes.
2. Leave it as is and keep the long list of outcomes.
The thing is, your internal API can deal with changing a call out come for a call as you can do this on a case by case basis when you edit a call. So 2 things need to happen:
1. Allow your REST API UPDATE A CALL endpoint to accept an optional `outcome_id` parameter that will update the outcome for a call.
2. Build into your Call Outcomes UI an option to reassign the call outcome if you delete one of the outcomes.
This seems like some pretty basic functionality that is in other parts of the API/UI so I'm a bit confused as to why this has been left off the calls API?
