    Hello Jay McCormack,

Creating a dashboard is a process that requires creativity and strong organization skills. I would recommend looking into the article below on how to set up your dashboard so you can eliminate issues that cause your text boxes to lose the ability to scroll.

    Best regards.

    Devan,

I'm not looking for someone to redesign and I certainly understand that there is a level of creativity and design that maybe isn't my strong point. I really just want to clean things up. I don't need an award winning design, just something that is a little cleaner.

I had already read the article that you are referencing and maybe I missed something in there so I'll read it again. I'm not looking to "...eliminate issues that cause your text boxes to LOSE the ability to scroll...", quite the opposite. My text boxes are scrolling and I do not know why nor how to stop them. I was hoping someone in the community with more experience creating dashboards could offer some insight, tips, etc.

    Hello Jay McCormack,

If you are experiencing a lot of scrolling in your text boxes, it sounds like you might have chosen fonts that are too large for the boxes on your dashboard. Now if you are looking to eliminate the large negative space needed to facilitate larger text as you showed in your screenshot, I would suggest changing the background of these text boxes to opaque by using the background color option. I've shared a screenshot below of this at work. I'll also share your post with our mod team and community digest so we can get more eyes on this post and find you some suggestions on how to improve this further.

    Best regards.

    Hey Devan,

Changing the background and borders to opaque helped a lot. Additionally, I took what you said about the font being too large for the box to heart and simply resized the text boxes a bit and that also helped. I think I'm in good shape on this. Thank you very much for your diligence.
