Sound notification when chats are in queue
AnsweredI am really perplexed why there is one setting for when chats come in.
When chats come in through to an agent and when chats come in through to the queue , it will do the sound anyways.
Is there anyway how to prevent this from happening , I just want the sound when chats are coming through to me , and really could not be bothered how many chats are queuing in.

kristofer mallia this behaviour depends on the routing settings of the account and if the agent is in all departments. By using assigned mode, you only get notified of chats pushed to you (vs. broadcast which is to everyone)
If you are an agent that does not get chats directly and only via transfers, get yourself unassigned from all departments in the account and you should not get notified (assuming all your chats have a department assigned to it)
