    Hi Mike Davis,

    No we do not offer such a linking capability. It may seem attractive on the surface to offer that, but on closer look I think you will agree that it's not: It can be misused for so-called "Request Forgery", or more commonly cross-site request forgery (CSRF). As a rule of thumb, no external link should allow users to perform an action like subscribing to particular updates or signing on to a service. Such links can be misused and embedded into all sorts of contents that activates the link prematurely and signs people up to services that they have not given consent to. For this reason we have security measures in place that prevent CSRF attacks, and one of them is to ensure that you can only follow a topic, an article etc. if you are coming from within the Help Center's own experience.
