    Hello Rutger Bockholts,

    One way to integrate is with Zendesk's developer platform framework called Channels Framework. It allows creating tighter integrations with third party messaging systems. It allows for tickets to be automatically created when a message is posted in a system and will create a reply back when a public comment is added to that ticket.

    Depending on requirements, there is also the Zendesk Apps framework, which can be used to create integrations as well.

    Both, however, require custom programming, which can be substantial for integrations to third-party systems.

    While there are some Zendesk-built integrations (example SalesForce & JIRA), Zendesk relies on third-party developers and its Apps marketplace to promote integrations with other systems.
