Our Zendesk implementation fires several GA events in one ‘category’: “Zendesk Web Widget”. There are several ‘actions’ including: “Chat Opened” and “Chat Served by Operator”.
It’s our belief these are included in the widget’s framework. Our current GA implementation is Universal Analytics (analytics.js), but we’re upgrading to their GTAG integration (gtag.js). I found that events using “ga(‘send’,’event’,…)” may no longer work with GTAG.
