Unsubscribe from 'follower' emails with trigger

    Hi Adrian

    Even though it is not natively possible to just add the "remove follower" options in the trigger, it is possible to do this with a HTTPS target in Zendesk. Or use something like Zapier to create the logic.

    • Reply with "unfollow me"
    • Trigger in Zendesk reacts and notifies a HTTPS target
    • The corresponding message send to the target contains information to the ticket API endpoint to remove the user as a follower.

    Use this part of the ticket API: https://developer.zendesk.com/rest_api/docs/support/tickets#setting-followers 

    In the above example you need to create a trigger for each light agent/agent that you need to have this functionality.

    If you use Zapier you can have only one trigger and have Zapier modify the call to Zendesk API changing the user ID in the API call to match the user sending in the update (haven't actually tried this, but it should be possible).

    Hi Carsten,

    how do identify in the Trigger which agent sent in this email? With the "current user" condition?
