Change the "Blacklist" / "Whitelist" language in the Zendesk UI to be "Allowed" / "Blocked".
CompletedThere is a broad movement to remove racially charged terms like blacklist and whitelist or master and slave from frontend UI and backend code language.
Zendesk uses the blacklist and whitelist terms on the Admin > Customers page, see below. Please change this language to neutral self-explanatory terms such as: Allowed / Blocked or Included / Excluded.

I wish I could have been making this post much sooner, but we are glad to say this has been achieved. We now use the words "Blocklist" and "Allowlist" in all Zendesk products. Please let us know if we've missed anything, or if you ever see us using dated or othering language in any other way.

Hey, thanks for posting this. It's been a subject of discussion for some time internally. We talked about this today, and we've decided to make the change. It will take a few weeks to make sure we've found every place we need to change it, and to go through our translation process, but it will be coming soon.
Again, thanks for letting us know. We appreciate this.
