Exclude partial month data from a trend line

I don't think there is a way to have the trendline apply to a subset of the data - could you use results manipulation to exclude that data from your query?  Or have you tried a polynomial trendline?

Thanks for responding!  Yes, I've tried excluding data from the query, that solves the problem, except that the partial month data point is now hidden from the graph.  Polynomial trendline was ok, but really it's not what I'm looking for.  I think I'll just manage without for now, but this is fairly basic data fitting that Zendesk should look into adding.

My last thought would be to make two queries, one with the trendline data and one without; scale the y axis to be the same, then put the two queries side by side on a dashboard - it will sort of mimic what you are trying to do; but with another axis in the middle.
