[Talk] Changing External number description
When I click on my talk widget in zendesk support, some of the external numbers have titles that I need to edit. Also, how do I set the icon for the outbound numbers?
If I use the gear on the sidebar and go to CHANNELS>Talk I can change the Nickname but nothing else that appears on the talk widget.
EDIT: I found a workaround to emulate this feature. It involves changing your default brand.
External numbers pick up whichever brand is set as your "default" brand. You can change this default temporarily to the desired brand before adding an external number, then change your default brand back after you have added the number. The external number will then have your desired brand attached.

For further clarification, I am trying to attach a brand to an external number.

Hi Jeremy,
I see you posted this question over here as well. The external numbers only have nickname options, they do not have brand settings at this time.

How can I attach a thumbnail for the outbound drop-down menu beneath the keypad?

Hey Jeremy,
As of right now the brand image or adding a thumbnail for external numbers is not customizable but a possible enhancement. So, if you'd like to receive more visibility by other users that might be looking for the same feature or may have other suggestions in mind, I highly encourage you to post it in the Community, specifically in the Talk Product Feedback topic. The details of your feedback will be forwarded to the Dev Team for further evaluation.
Also, I see you're getting some assistance with this in a private ticket so if you have further questions or concerns about this kindly follow up there. :)

Thanks Erica, I created a thread there a few days ago. I also posted a workaround to emulate this feature there.
To Zendesk users that would like to see this as a feature, please head over to this thread and upvote/comment.
