    Is your question related to the Side Conversations EAP, or is this just about Chat separately?

    I got a response from the support team and this fixed it.   The response was :

    Additionally, to use the Chat API, you need to generate an OAuth access token to authenticate API requests. Here is a reference containing a step by step guide: Chat API tutorial: Generating an OAuth token (integrated Chat accounts)
