We're facing an issue that out of office notifications from Gmail are not being received into our Zendesk Suspended Tickets folder. The reason provided by Zendesk is that an automated system cannot reply to another automated system and that this applies to all kinds of automated responses used in G suite.
The upshot is that we have no way of knowing when we contact someone within our organisation whether they have seen our response or are on vacation.
This seems like quite a major flaw that needs to be addressed and that must be affecting other Zendesk users. Please can this feature be revised to enable us to receive out of office notifications sent from Gmail accounts.
