Creating and storing custom metrics

    Thank you for joining the AMA! This is an excellent call out and question. Unfortunately at this time the custom metrics all are grouped into the one category "Calculated metrics". There is no option currently to create your own categories. 

    That being said this is a great idea and a great bit of product feedback that I'd highly recommend you share in our product feedback section. You can share that idea and feedback here: Feedback on Explore to get it in front of our product developers.
