how to remove decimal places when exporting ticket data?

    Hey Elene,

    If you set the Decimal Value to 0 then you shouldn't see any decimal places on your report. However, if you're referencing the export you received, then the formatting options would not carry over from the query/dashboard. However, there's a setting in Explore under Admin>Account Information which will allow you to customize the csv export decimal precision. Perhaps this setting will help with the decimal issue in your exports. Keep in mind that this will only affect CSV exports and not Excel exports.

    As for you second question, I did some testing and it looks like there's no way to prevent this file from being sent as a Zip file.

    Thanks for looking into the issues.

    Yes, I was referring to the exported report that I received from the scheduler.

    I need the excel exports actually. Just wonder if the development team will work on allowing customisation of decimal places for the excel exports?

    Just wonder why the formatting options did not carry over from the dashboard to the excel exports? It’s disappointing actually not able to achieve what I see in dashboard in excel exports.

    Thanks for testing on my second question. Noted with thanks that it’s not possible to prevent this file from being sent as a Zip file.

    In the Insights reporting, it’s excel file and easy for users to access the data as compared to Zip file. Not sure why it’s Zip file in Zendesk Explore?
