I have been looking at disaster recovery options for our Zendesk systems. I have seen that there is the ability to export in CSV (or similar) file types but these backups dont maintain all information in the tickets (such as comments https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203662346-Exporting-data-to-a-CSV-or-XML-file-Plus-and-Enterprise)
I was looking at options like SkyVia or Rewind Backups as a backup restore option as these do full database backup. The restore process is meant to be very easy also.
Have many people used either of these solutions?
What are your thoughts/feedback/suggestions?
Has anyone had to do a restore? How successful was it?
Secondly, I have been in discussions with Zendesk Support to try and find the size of our database. They have advised that there is no way for me to track this down from my end.
Does anyone have any methods for finding out the size of the live size of our database?
