Changing the value on an organization check box (custom field)

    Hello Michael,

     

    Great question! You can use the API (resources here) or do a bulk update through a CSV import (information here) to make that bulk update to your organizations. 

    What you would want to do is update the custom checkbox field to "false" and that will uncheck the box.

    Hi, 

    I'm trying to uncheck a custom box with a CSV import but haven't been able to make it work. So far I've tried with:

    false

    False

    'false'

    But it does not uncheck it.

    For the CSV header column I'm using the tag used when I created the custom check box:

    custom_fields.new_client_test

    The report I get after the import doesn't show any errors.

    What I'm doing wrong?

    For the cells within that org checkbox column, you can enter either false or FALSE for any organizations that you want to have an unchecked box.  For the header column title, you'll want to use the field key of the checkbox, rather than the tag it's associated with. 

    With this checkbox example below, the CSV header column title would show as custom_fields.checktest:
