Remove Built-In Filter That Is Unsupported (And Broken) From Explore
Feature Request Summary:
Remove the Exclude option entirely from Tags as a filter option.
Description/Use Cases:
Excluding Ticket tags is available as a filter when Zendesk refuses to support using them for filtering and they do not function correctly at all, not even for a single tag anymore.
Business impact of limitation or missing feature:
As an end user, it's really frustrating for the product to include a way of filtering natively in the product, and then tell your users when they build queries that don’t function correctly, that you don’t support the built-in, native filter of your own tool, and that it’s not a bug that it's broken. If you expect everyone to write custom attributes to filter out tags, then remove the exclude tag filter option entirely, so that it’s not possible to build broken reports.
Other necessary information or resources:
There are promises going back over 2 years that improvements would be coming “soon” to tags to fix this problem. https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022183574-Reporting-with-tags
If you aren’t going to make improvements, then at least remove the ability for users to make mistakes due to the product not having the functionality is presents itself as having.

It probably looks like I'm shadowing CJ across the community and upvoting their suggestions today, but heck, I feel this one.
I spent a day last week last trying to figure out why my reports weren't working as expected half the time. Writing out custom metrics for tag reports is the same pain that we lived in Insights and were promised Explore would improve. The annoying part is that our less-proficient Explore users are still trying to do exclusion based tag filtering and then getting incorrect data that they're using to make business decisions on. I can send emails till I'm blue in the face, but I can't make them read them.
Please either fix exclusion tag filters and have them work as expected or just remove the thing or if you absolutely have to, prevent the report from running if it has tag exclusion filters.
