Views Reporting in Zendesk Explore
Posted Mar 29, 2021
Is there anyway that ZD Explore can report on the number of tickets in a certain View? If not in the past, at least currently? Also looking to know how long the oldest ticket in the view has been there for. This would be incredibly helpful for reporting and wait times.

Explore has no access to the views that you have in Support.
Instead, you create a new query that recreates the conditions you have used in your view in filters within Explore and recreate the view columns within the rows and columns in Explore.
Once you have created your query, you can sort the output to find the oldest tickets.

I think OP would effectively like Views to be used as queries in Explore. Sure would be amazing if you could leverage the work of building a view into a SELECT statement, rather than the abstruse query builder.
Views have a faster, more responsive and tangible output that I could hand off to my Team Leads to build their own views-queries simply and seamlessly with less admin/specialist intervention.

Hi there,
Currently, Zendesk Explore does not offer the capability to report on live data from Views or the duration that the oldest ticket has been present in a View. While there are no current plans to introduce this functionality, we understand how valuable this feature would be and will take your feedback into consideration for future updates to Explore.
We're continually working to enhance our reporting tools and insights such as yours are vital to this process. Please stay tuned to our updates and join our community discussions for the latest on our products and features.
