Ability to Rotate Explore Reports
I'd like to be able to rotate an Explore query. For example, if I have a table, I'd like to be able to rotate the report so the column headers can be listed as rows instead. This helps with the visuals and space on an Explore dashboard.
This functionality is available in Insights and it would be a great addition for for Explore!

Hi Natalie, when you're in query builder, the button highlighted below will switch the rows and columns. Might that help?

That will certainly be helpful for some reports! However, the reports I'm working on now only have metrics listed and I do not see that icon within the metrics section

That's a good question. I'm not sure you can do that apart from dragging and reordering the metrics. Let's see what others who read this come up with, otherwise, let me know and I'm happy to open a ticket on your behalf. Thanks!

I was looking for this too! I think that "metrics as rows" will get you most of what you want. That lets you have those top column metrics, as rows, effectively turning the report on its side. I was so happy when I found this in the columns settings:
