Ticket views with added colours?

Hi All,
My team would really benefit from having an option to set ticket colours based on their priority so that when viewing any list of tickets you can easily see which ones are the highest priority & therefore need to be dealt with first. Colours are a great way to visually see groups or types of tickets without even having to read them & I think this would be a huge benefit to all.
What does everyone else think?

This is a great feature request and I have added it to the backlog for future consideration. This means that we will think about adding it as a priority later in our planning cycle. I agree with Ken, it would be beneficial to have tickets coloured backgorund by tags, groups or priority, so that agents can differentiate and avoid mistakes.

I've been investigating similar things, and you might find this Chrome extension does what you want while you wait for this feature request: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zest-the-zendesk-colour-c/kohidmaedanhmmhkhkbeaonheneldfbi
It was a little tricky to understand how to use it, the "categories" are the columns and the values in them, so you could put "urgent" as a category, and if the view you were looking at has priority as a column, the urgent priority tickets will get highlighted with the color you set.

I agree that this would be a great way to simplify and make the views list more user-friendly. Hope this can be implemented soon!

We just switched to Zendesk and I wanted to chime in on this since I was surprised to find there weren't settings for this sort of thing.
Information in ticket views gets easily buried when everything is the same color. A few improvements I'd love to see:

+1000 for all the color coding we can do with views. Priority / tags / assigneee names etc all a must have.
Currently using Zest extension and really would be nice to have this built in with options to natively change this. Come on Zendesk, make it happen please ;)

+1 for at LEAST color coded status/priority options. It's already criminal that the dashboard can't be set to show priority (good luck getting your agents to always follow instructions about going into custom views instead). If this does get added, please make sure we can adjust the colors of the default statuses as well, I would rather not have to create all custom statuses to get the colors I would like to use.
