Notify followers on change of status of community post
Hello,
Using Gather topics for feature requests and product feedback, it would be extremely helpful to send notifications to users that have followed a community post when the status is changed.
I would like to have a product feedback page and it would make sense for them to get an email when the feature is implemented for example.
This is an issue when using the community for this purpose since users will have to continue to check the actual post page for updates. Customers would love for it to be more automated.
I tried a couple of workarounds like updating the official comment to trigger a notification or checking if the status shows on the user's activities page, but after testing, I don't believe these features are available either.

Hi Samantha,
If users are following the community post and you make a new comment, they'll receive a notification. One of our recommended best practices would be to comment on a feedback request to let users following it know that it has been implemented, and then link to the documentation about the new feature.
