Additional Bulk Article - "Publish in section"

I see the topic posted,
Bulk Changes to Guide Sections and Articles
However, it still falls short I think what needs to be added for Bulk updates, mainly moving bulk articles from one Section to another.
There should be an additional section/tab/menu/etc. for moving from one section to another if possible.
Right now, you have to go into each individual Article and move it to the desired location. With nearly 150 articles in total (and counting), this can be very cumbersome if a reorganization of the Sections or Categories needs to be made, but not the actual content of the Article.

Bulk actions for admins are necessary. We have taxonomy changes (adding sections or moving articles between sections) often and cannot be moving them one at a time. When will a bulk action be available to classify a group of articles.

Trying to completely reorganise our article database and the progress is very slow, because there is no way of moving articles in bulk... Hoping this feature is added.

This feature is a requirement for so many. Would be silly not to prioritize it. Imagine being able to simply drag and drop content from one section to another category....

I'm not sure why this feature is not the norm. We have multi-branded accounts and this is very time consuming to change article sections one by one.

Yes! I'm in the process of reorganizing hundreds of articles, and it would be incredibly useful to be able to move them as part of the multi-select article settings.

Massively needed. As we scale and evolve our community, we need to be able to edit, move, delete etc in bulk

We're starting an overhaul of our Help Centre structure, and have over 1500 articles. It's going to take an extremely long time to manually move each one to the correct section and category.
It'd be great if this was something that could be done in bulk.
You can already filter by placement, so why not add it to the actions at the bottom of the page?

This has been an open request for some time. Let's hope something will be released soon! We have over 7500 articles. Too much work to move one-by-one!

We are doing a lot of work behind the scenes to make it happen since last year. We hope to see have first customer-facing deliveries in the area of the placement of articles in the second half of the year.

We finally moved all of our articles from one KB system to Zendesk Help Center. I'm able to now bulk edit many of the properties. However the bulk edit of section placement for hierarchy is not available. We have hundreds of articles to bulk edit. Need to let our bleeding fingers heal after manually rebuilding all of the articles as there was no import feature (as to be expected), but we did expect some bulk editing post creation. Now we have to open each one and edit. We are learning the hard way that Labels are not editable or delete-able if made in error. Learning the hard way to not think Labels should hold tags as the field below is called Related and not Tags which does indeed holds tags and thankfully editable or delete-able if made in error.

A very important function for us. We are constantly working on changes and updates with our article database. Being forced to move every article manually is very time-consuming and ineffective.

The original post was made in 2019. Now it's nearly 2025 and Zendesk still hasn't pulled this feature off the backlog. I am no developer, but the resolution to this, can't be that complicated. We are new to using Help Center and are growing and changing our thinking of how things are organized. To find that we can't bulk update the location 200 articles are stored is fascinating.
Additionally, it has been suggested that I spend my time to add feature suggestions here in the community, but seeing this nearly 6 year old thread is the reason I shouldn't waste my time.

This is an undoubtedly valuable feature and I feel your frustration that it hasn't gotten to be prioritised in the past. We simply didn't prioritise this work because of other critical features on our roadmap. Effective knowledge management requires bulk moves for organising your help center. This means that we did not forget about this problem, and will try adding it as a priority in a future planning cycle. I will share an update when it happens. We are going to leave this post open for comment to allow others to provide their feedback and use cases.
