Add a placeholder about the previous status before the change is made
Description/Example/Use Cases/Proof of End-Users Requesting:

Use Case:
Our organization would like the ability to make a trigger based on not only the status that was changed from but also a previous status.

This could possibly be useful to me for large projects where a project detail is changed. By offering a way to print/send pre-changed status, it would allow all project contributers to see the change made to the ticket field and voice any concerns. It would make it easier to revert the change to the original state if the new value won't work for some reason. in my case, it would likely be something like resource allocation (which encoder/decoder/switch/server/etc. is being used for a particular event) which does change as a project is ironed out in real time

Sometimes when there is no new comment you can receive a notification from an old ticket, without any helpful information, like what has been changed on this ticket which justify a new notification ?
An old/new value could be really usefull to now if it's only a minor change (change of priority...) or if there is a good reason to take a look at the ticket (assignee change...).
