Option to disable comments on Guide articles from a central setting

We would like an option to disable comments on Guide articles from a central setting instead of doing it from the article settings. I'm aware you can change this in bulk but we need to remember to disable it for all the new articles as well.

I just discovered that you cannot create a default "No comments" setting for articles.
Not only is it annoying to update comment settings for each article in bulk, but the bulk update functionality doesn't always work correctly. If it doesn't refresh itself to show the correct list of articles, bulk update actions fail. It is doubly frustrating!

Bulk editing settings on articles, like disabling comments in this case, would be a great way to make managing Zendesk less painful and time-consuming than it already is. Put yourself in your users' shoes - there's a lot of room for improvement in this product.
