Is there a Guide plugin that directs customers to exact section of the article based on their search query (similar to Google's search functionality)?
To preface, Google's search engine will sometimes attempt to make it easier for you to find the exact information you were searching for, by highlighting the relevant page sections or text in yellow. Similar to an anchor text.
Here's an example in this article: https://www.theverge.com/2020/6/4/21280115/google-search-engine-yellow-highlight-featured-snippet-anchor-text.
I'm wondering if there's a similar plugin for Zendesk Guide.
For example, if users complete a search within the search box, and click on one of the recommended articles, they will be redirected to the exact section of the article that mentions that they searched for.
If anyone can recommend a similar plugin, that would be amazing! Thanks in advance.

Hi Tasneem,
You can highlight the terms in the summary of the article returned on the search results page using this recipe: Help Center CSS Cookbook, but not within the article page, unfortunately. We don’t have it on the roadmap to add this right now

Hi Dave! Thanks for the response.
Is there a way to set up some type of anchor link? So even if the text doesn't highlight yellow on the landing page, the visitor will be brought to the most relevant section of the doc based on their search query.
For example, each of our text formatting in Headings 3 in the Help Centre have unique anchor links. So, on my.helpcentre.com/1203510244#content4, I'm wondering if we can utilize the search function to link to those specific sections?

Hi Tasneem, unfortunately I don't think there's a way to do that. Would you mind posting your use case in our Feedback on Guide topic, and use this template for format your use case information? Product Feedback Post Template
