Exploded chart size adjustment
Hi there.
I created an exploded chart that shows the activity per hour of a certain number of assignees. It was exactly how I wanted it so I was happy to add it to my dashboard. However, once on the dashboard, when I try to increase the size of my query (to avoid having the scroll down arrow), every time I drag the query down it continues to only show the top chart of my explosion. I got to a point where I have an entire dashboard with a single huge columns chart. How can I adjust it so that I can expand the size of the whole query, not just the top chart?
I zoomed out of my browser to be able to take this screenshot, to give you a better idea of my issue:
Any help would be most appreciated.

Hey Diego,
We will need to take a look at the specific report you referenced so I'll create a ticket on your behalf so we can dig into this further.
Cheers!

Hello Diego,
I don't know if you received an answer already from Zendesk. If yes please share it also here.
If not maybe something that i did and it helped me will help you as well.
Please try to access Chart Configuration -> Explosion and there change the Number of columns from 1 to 3 or 4 and see if the design will change accordingly.
Let me know if this helped you.
Thanks,
Vio

Hi @...,
Yes, Zendesk got back to me and were very helpful as always - however, according to their product team, at the moment this is the expected behaviour for exploded charts.
Obviously, this isn't ideal, so hopefully this feature will be improved in the future.
Thanks a lot for your suggestion - I think for most people that workaround of increasing the number of columns will be enough for their needs. In my case, unfortunately, I had the explosion on a single column on purpose as I wanted to have the charts for my agents one on top of the other, leaving space on the right side of the dashboard to add different queries there.
I will either have to re-think the design of my dashboard or add individual queries for each agent, instead of using the explosion feature.
I hope this is clear, but let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers
Diego

Hello,
is there any estimate on when this might be included in the product? I have a similar scenario, but in my case I am using columns to show the charts side-by-side. However, I am only showing 2 charts (with 2 columns selected), and when I add the query to the dashboard, both charts show only on the top-half portion of the query, leaving the bottom half empty.
Thanks

Have there been any changes with this?
I'm attempting to recreate a query from Insights and the chart is much too long and I can't seem to change it.
Example of the report in Insights:
Example of the report in Explore:
As you can see, each day of data is so large that you can only see one day per chart. Is there a way for me to change the length of the Y axis?

Hi Amanda,
It is possible to show several charts per column by going to your query and then Chart configuration > Explosion to change the number of columns.
By doing so you will be able to see several charts on the same line according to the number of columns:
I understand you wanted to change the length of the Y axis, thing not possible at the moment, I hope this helps :)
