Revision History for Macros

I would love to have the same kind of revision history that triggers have, for macros as well. It's very difficult to figure out how a macro has changed over time, who updated it, etc. Having this would make it much easier to know when and who made changes to a macro.

Thank you all for supporting this idea. I'm one of the product managers here at Zendesk and your feedback is truly appreciated. This is definitely on our radar, and it's something that we'd like to provide, as we definitely understand the need here. It's not currently planned in our upcoming roadmap, but this can change, and I'm confident that it we will get to it in future, we just don't have a timeline for it currently.  So, for now, I'm marking this as "not planned". We'll update this once we have developed concrete plans along with a timeline. 

One more additional thing to note: we do provide some insight to Macros changes in Audit Logs, available to Enterprise plans.

It would also be great to have the revision history for views as well.

It would also be helpful to have this function in the field of organisation - who changed what in an organisation.

We would also like to see this added. When multiple teams are working in the same Zendesk instance it's important to be able to find out who made specific changes and give that person feedback on how the change has affected other teams.

+1 on this. We would also like to see such a feature available. This is vital for us as sometimes agents and other team members can create and alter macros which upon usage can cause incorrect ticket routing or reassignment. Important ticket tags may also be removed causing discrepancies in reporting. These are just some of the examples and by having a revision history we will not only have the ability to roll back configuration but also address this with the relevant member, so that above mentioned behavior for macros is avoided.
