User Groups are coming!
Pinned FeaturedHi everyone! We have some exciting news for you: This summer, we are launching Zendesk User Groups!
This new customer-led program is intended to help you connect, learn, and share with others that use Zendesk every day.
The Community Team and I have heard you loud and clear that opportunities to connect with other users and hearing about how they use Zendesk is something you’re really looking for. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to Zendesk or a seasoned vet, user groups will offer something for everyone. By meeting with other Zendesk customers on a regular basis, you’ll be able to better develop your skills and professional networks. We think you’re going to love it!
In the past, user groups have been created around a specific location. We think that’s sort of limiting in this near digital-first age we find ourselves in. Which is why we’re going to be launching groups not only based on location, but also interest, industry, and job role. So whether you’d like to connect with people in your area, Zendesk users in your industry, or others who do similar kinds of work, we’ve got you covered. Examples of user groups we plan to have include:
- Knowledge Managers
- Community Managers
- Zendesk Users in the Public Sector
- Zendesk Users in Higher Education
-
And, of course, city-based
Which groups we launch first will depend on where there’s the most interest. So make sure to fill out the User Group Interest form today to tell us what groups you want to see!
As we launch these groups - for users, by users - we’ll also be looking for group leaders. Leaders will be responsible for planning meetups for their group, and in recognition of those efforts, we’ll be offering benefits like:
- Exclusive access to the Zendesk Community Team
- Zendesk swag
- Free Zendesk certification
- Professional development training
- Badges and other recognition in the Zendesk community
- …and more
If starting and leading a chapter sounds interesting to you, let us know.
For more information, sign up and let us know what user groups interest you by filling out this form.

And if you’re building a community with Gather or a Zendesk customer that is interested in learning more about online communities, join our Community Manager User Group.
