Zendesk Messaging Android: How to restart the Messaging with new session?

  • How to restart the chat? Currently, we need to restart the app in order to start a fresh conversation (answer bot flow)

  • Once the user is passed through the flow, how can we restart the new session so that the user can start from initial point again?

Hi Ahmed,

I'm also testing a mobile Messaging solution for our Android/iOS app. This is probably not a clean solution, but it seems to work to force the Bot Flow to restart, under specific conditions.

Eg. Define a trigger with ALL conditions as follows:
- Channel is Messaging
- CSAT is Changed
- CSAT > Offered

Actions:
- Status = CLOSED

So, this only works after the Flow has been transferred to an agent and a ticket was created...

I personally hope to see much more actions added to the Flow Builder, as it's currently too much limited...

Hi not to be rude but to notice to Zendesk that this is not a solution to restart the flowbuilder.

The only option I see is to say in the last message "type restart to restart" and to add the keyword restart in your first answer but if you have 6 or more than 1 "starting answers" you cannot do this.

So theres not 1 solution for this problem for the moment.
