window now showing RENDERED markdown instead of RAW markdown

If the markdown rendering engine were perfect, then this wouldn't be an issue, but it's definitely not. When copy-pasting plaintext markdown code from a text editor (BBEdit or MacDown), the carriage returns are single-spaced, not double spaced. This is a NEW error with the switchover to the new system.

Also, the links [Link display text](http://www.sampleurl.com) are not rendering properly. 

I want the option to view RAW markdown. I can't find where this option has been hidden if it exists at all.
