On November 9, 2022 at our annual Community Day event, we announced the winners of the 2022 Community Awards. 

From all of us at Zendesk and especially the Community Team, thank you to everyone who participated in the community - online, via User Groups, or at events - this past year. We saw a lot of people this year come to the community for the first time and ask questions, connect with others, and engage with us, and lots of longtime friends as well. It’s because of all of you that we’re here celebrating all things Zendesk Community. 

These awards recognize those members of the community who have been especially generous in sharing their time and knowledge with others. 

"The Wise One" award recognizes outstanding efforts in writing User Tips in the community. These customers truly embody what our community is all about - users freely sharing solutions to help one another get the most out of Zendesk. Crafting these posts can be time-consuming, but even a brief tip can have a big impact for other community members, and these are some of the most read conversations in the community.

This year, The Wise One award highlights the author of the most-viewed user tip in the community. The finalists for this award were: 

• Jacob the Moderator for “Push notifications from Zendesk to Slack”
• Vladan Jovic for “How to export Zendesk macros into a spreadsheet”
• Colin Piper for “How to set a reminder on a ticket”
• Trapta Singh for “Collapsible headers in articles or templates”

"The Product Manager Whisperer" award is all about product feedback, innovation, and ideation. One of our goals in the community is to bring our members closer to our product team, and the product feedback topics in our community forums are one of the most important - and liveliest - avenues for these conversations. The feedback and suggestions, and even the frustrations you express there are an important factor in shaping our development priorities. This award recognizes the individuals who had our product team’s ear throughout the year and whose contributions made a substantial impact on the development of our products.

"The Developer's Developer" award highlights the value of our developer community. If you’ve ever visited the Zendesk Marketplace, you’ve seen the hundreds of apps that add functionality and connect Zendesk to other products, as well as dozens of professionally-produced themes for your help center. But that’s only part of what developers do – they also make use of our SDKs to include Zendesk functionality into their own mobile applications, build custom solutions using the Zendesk Sunshine platform, and more. The Developer’s Developer award honors outstanding impact in the developer community.

The "Startup Coach of the Year" award highlights our startups community. The Zendesk for Startups program offers a free six-month Zendesk subscription for qualifying startups, as well as membership in our Zendesk Startups slack community, connecting members with founders and customer experience leaders from other startups. Our Startups Coach of the year award honors the members who have offered the most mentorship and expertise to the startups community, and the finalists for the 2022 Startups Coach of the Year award were:

The "Most Engaged" advocacy recognize those community members that have contributed to the community most this year. These members stood out from the rest by the sheer amount of engagement we saw from them in the community over the last 12 months.
